The venues at Skagen Festival 2012

Skagen Kultur- & Fritidscenter
- is centrally located in the middle of Skagen town with less than five minutes' walk to the  pedestrian street. The venue has a combination of standing room and seats, and the capacity is 2300 people. Seating only on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. For Friday night and Saturday night you can book both seats and standing room. Sound level is electric/half acoustic. Open Stage offers music outside during the breaks on Friday and Saturday.

The Badminton Hall
- is the heart of the festival. You will find the badminton hall within reasonable walking distance of the center of town. This venue offers only seats with space for an audience of 1200, and is divided into two categories – seats in the middle and seats on the sides There is a price difference, and the seats are numbered. Many have given the badminton hall the label ”Best sound in Denmark”. Sound level is acoustic/half acoustic. You may begin your concert experience by the barbecue outside, which is open every day from 5pm. Here light meals and draft beer are available. Come and enjoy the Danish ”hygge” (hygge means having a cozy time) before the concert starts!

Havnescenen/Harbour Stage
- You will find this venue in beautiful surroundings, centrally located at the yacht harbour of Skagen. There is a combination of standing room and seats and a half acoustic/electric sound level. Free entrance Friday and Saturday until 7.30 pm. Tickets for evenings and for Sunday can be bought at the venue. If you have a ticket for the venues Skagen Kultur og Fritidscenter or The Badminton Hall  the same ticket will give you free access to ”Havnescenen” on the same evening. Holds an audience of  850 persons.
Saturday and Sunday you can buy a ticket here for the big fish buffet lunch.

Torvescenen/The Stage at the Square
- by the beautiful Kulturhus Kappelborg (a former school) you find Torvescenen with room for an audience of 300. Here, 50 meters from the main pedestrian street, you feel the pulse of the town and get top class music. Half acoustic/electric.

Skawbaren
- is siutated in Skagen Kultur & Fritidscenter. This venue serves as the festival's ”night stage”, which takes over when the big stages close down. Free entrance. Room for 300, half acoustic/electric.
